Self Indulgence

For my 25th birthday, (I warn people now, I do not want to hear the phrase 'quarter century)I've been thinking about gifting myself some 'silly self indulgent' photos.

Not the regular run of the mill, slap on some paint, point and shoot ones through. Lovely but boring.

I want something I could frame, and almost have people not know it was me. Artwork even, but not in the traditional Leo painting Kate kinda way.

Much to my joy, and then dismay, Vaig have a whole section of body art (some of which are not my cup of tea) but some are almost exactly what I want.

My dismay enters, where I swore off Vaig for being horrid rip off artists who conned my cousin into something she couldn't afford.
But pretty cool eh?

Moving RIGHT along

Moving RIGHT along from last nights rant... to a little pampering.

Does anyone have a really terrific under eye dark circle treatment?

I knew the standard ones, cucumber (which I will trial as soon as we have cucumber) and tea bags which I think sounds awesful so I decided to research a little bit;

• Dark circles can be removed removed by applying peeled and grated potato overnight at least three times a week.
• Dark can be removed by doing pranayam (yoga, apprently) daily for at least five mins.
• Take a teaspoon of tomato juice, a few drops of lemon juice, a pinch of turmeric powder and a little flour, enough to make a paste. Apply this paste to the under-eye area, and wash off after fifteen minutes
• Increase your fibre consumption to at least 30grammes a day, and drink at least two litres of water, et voila, clear skin in a fortnight.
• My mom takes vasoline, puts it on a metal spoon and freezes it for 15 minutes. Then she applies it to her eyes for a few minutes

Clearly there seem to be more sensical ideas than others around.

I really need to get a good book to read (to avoid wondering about this sort of thing), I've just finished Schapelle Corby - My Story.
So far what I know to be true; Schapelle was arrested at Denpasar Airport with 4.1 or 4.2 kilo's of cannibis in her boogie board bag when travelling to Bali.
She was sentenced on May 27th 2005 to and finalised at 20 years in prison and ordered to pay a fine of 100,000,000 rupiah ($11701.60).
Release date is July, 2024 after two months remissions.
All of the other stuff that is reported, I do not know.
I have always thought it was exceedingly suspicious that one would risk thier life both importing something which is cheaper to buy in Bali, where the Indonesian judical system so radically different to our own.

I suppose guilty or not she is stuck in a third world gaol which makes me feel a little less silly for having my suitcase Protectabagged at Phuket airport.

Life as a Cowlicker

I have a cow's lick. I hate it. I hate it because while I would LOVE TO GET THIS STYLE I cannot unless I a) wax my forehead (I don't wax ANYTHING and am not about to start) b) get electrolysis c) get plastic surgery to correct it!
All for the sake of two dozen little hair follicles spiralling up and out and making my hairlife miserable.

I long for a fringe, blunt cut, wispy or side sweeping - as I have a long face shape it would be ideal, but no no no. Blow drying and product kinda work in the very sense that they work as long as I can be bothered to apply them and if I do not encounter any form of moisture in the air, thank god I don't live in Queensland right?
I also quite like the Rihanna inverted asymmetrical bob, but now every teenage trendoid has glommed onto it so that holds little appeal.

These cuts below could be what I'm looking for sort of asymmetrical , sans fringe naturally, keep it dark brown, maybe with some skinny deep purply/red fudge-lights... HMM I still don't know if I could be bothered to style it properly everyday, but moulding paste could get the job done... HMM

or? or or just go back to my original whish is a less fringy more layered version of version Jessica Alba's hair.
